About Us

Styro Recycle llc is dedicated to helping the community and businesses with options for removing this foam from the waste stream. When finding that there are many misconceptions about EPS, and how much the community disliked this material,

we discovered companies who had the technology for recycling it. Then a crusade was developed to find inexpensive ways for the public as well as businesses to have alternative ways to divert this foam from our landfills.

Styro Recycle llc and Pick-up Service Company recognizes this unmet need for our community and businesses and offers an affordable and convenient way to save the environment, while also saving businesses and post-consumers money. Campaigning throughout the South King and North Pierce Counties in efforts to provide a low cost pick-up service for businesses, we have created a free drop-off center for the public and businesses.

Our drop-off center is open Mon-Sun:
9am - 5pm.

Styrene Foam Is Going Green

However, your foam material needs to be clean, dry and remove any cardboard, hard plastics, soft foam sheeting, plastic wrap or banding and any metals before we can receive it at our center. Look for the #6 recycle symbol, in other words EPS foam only please. Bag packaging peanuts separately before dropping off.

There are plans for expanding these services and free collection centers to help other communities and businesses throughout Washington State as well. Styro Recycle believes that EPS is getting a bad rap; and can be made useful again, it is serving an important role in our everyday lives.

Whether used as protective packaging for fragile items during shipment, or even as a bicycle helmet.

It is now being turn into useful plastic products that can be recycled again and again.
